Suzuki GS500E

Suzuki GS500E on rahulik, suhteliselt kerge (ca 180kg), lihtne ja vastupidav keskmise kubatuuriga ratas.
Seda on ülimat kerge juhtida; ta võimaldab sõitu järk järgult õppida ning sõidutehnikat arendada ja lihvida.
Mootor on tugev ja seda on lihtne hooldada. Pöördemoment on mõnus, eriti 5000 ja 8000 rpm vahel.
Terasraam on tänapäevane ja (väga) hea geomeetriaga, lubades käänulistel teedel märgatavalt paremat juhitavust kui nii mõnelgi poole kallimal rattal.
Sõiduasend on igapäevasteks tarbesõitudeks justkui loodud, jalad ei kisu krampi ja käed ning selg ei väsi samuti ära.
Heaks omaduseks võib lugeda ka plastikute puudumise mis teeb avariijärgse (eriti algajatele omase külilikukkumise) taastamise suhteliselt soodsaks.
Ainsaks miinuseks on liiga pehme esiamort mis kasutatud ratastel tavaliselt juba tugevamaks on tehtud (väga lihtne ja odav).
Kui selle tsikli eest hoolitseda ning mõistlikult sõita peab see meie tingimustes üsna kaua vastu.
Algajale kes järgmisel suvel ei soovi uut ratast osta on GS vaieldamatult parim ratas ning juhile kes enne on sõitnud vene ning idaploki siklitega on see samuti talutav edasiminek.
Poosetajatele see ratas eriti ei sobi; tippkiirus jääb kuhugi 180kmh kanti ning veerandmiili aeg on kah ainult natuke alla 14sekundi

HIND
Saksast tuues on hind kuskil 650.- kuni 4500.- eurot + eestis käibekas maksta lisaks (mitte kogu summa pealt tavaliselt). Hinnaskaalal kõige odavamad on tavaliselt 90 aastal toodetud rattad mis on tavaliselt defektiga (kehv värv, suur läbisõit, valdavalt siiski iluvead). Need masinad mis sinna 4000.- euro kanti jäävad on tavaliselt täiesti uued ja paljude lisadega.
Välismaalt (piltide järgi) ostes tasub vaadata kindlasti ka seda kui roostes on väljalase - saab kohe aimu kuidas ja kus siklit hoitud on.

Eestis maksab tuikas ca 75000.- ning kasutatud alates 90a kuskil 20000.- alla selle ei ole näinud.
Ise ostsin külilikäinud masina aasta tagasi koos kirve tolli ja Saksast toomisega kokku 17000.- krooni eest ja väljalaskeaastaks oli 93.

MAINTENANCE
Here is a possible maintenance plan for your GS500E, this plan is an extension of the one that Suzuki proposes, and it does not pretend to be exhaustive, that is, not all the elements that maybe will have to be revised during the motorcycle live are present.
Most of the operations to be done are control ones, and the only maintenance is to check that everything is working properly. When you detect a problem, you must repair it. This is the most difficult part and a person with the appropiate knowledge and material must do it.
The plan is structured depending on the kilometres you have done:
Every 500 Km: The operations that the own user must do are easy, and are explained in the users manual. If you do not use your motorcycle a lot, you will have to do this control more often, specially you will have to control the tires and the battery. Performing these easy operations will save you from unpleasant surprises.
Every 6000/12000 Km: These operations are more complex because you need some knowledge about mechanics and, in some cases, special tools. The more difficult operations are marked with (*).

Ja nagu seal pildil öeldud, see gs on pildil 89-00 -- praktiliselt midagi ratta juures muudetud ei ole neil aastail. Uuematel kui 00 muudeti natuke sadula kuju ja _vist_ pandi ka vähe teised karpad külge.
Väikesed kosmeetilised erinevused näiteks lenksu osas on usa ja euroopa ratastel olemas..
